Christ is a "People Builder"

I once saw a man who had a name plate on his office door which read, "People Builder".  I hope when I die that can be what is said of me, "She was a People Builder."  The gospel of Jesus Christ can build people on a solid foundation, a foundation "whereon if men build they cannot fall." (Helaman 5:12)  Christ is that foundation.

The word Advocate comes from the latin advocāre, meaning to call to one's aid; a pleader.  Ad and Voco = to call.

Advocate is defined as:
1. a person who speaks or writes in support or defense of a person, cause, etc.
2. a person who pleads for or in behalf of another; intercessor.
3. a person who upholds or defends a cause; supporter, counselor.

Christ is my Advocate, my Protector, my Defender, my Supporter, my Intercessor, my Pleader, my Counselor.

The bases of my life has become this:  I want to be His advocate in this life.  When I was baptized I covenanted to be His disciple - a witness of Him in all times, in all things and in all places.  This means to be His advocate here I must master how to love people as He loves me.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,
him will confess also before my Father which is in heaven."
(Matt 10:32)

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another."
(John 13:35)
